Just found this item by chance. He suffered what seems to be a very serious injury in the More Than Ready that’s characterized as career ending. I say seems to be because I have no idea what this injury is.
“It is a complete disruption of the suspensory ligament. It is a severe breakdown injury involving the soft tissue around the fetlock. It is definitely career-ending.”
Perhaps they’re not calling it a retirement because there’s a chance he might not make it?
